1. Acceptance of these Terms

By using WebTools and any of the utilities on this site, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

2. What the service is

WebTools provides browser-based utilities and a temporary file sharing feature. Many tools run entirely in your browser; only features that explicitly upload data will send information to our servers.

3. User responsibilities and acceptable use

You agree to use the service lawfully and responsibly. In particular you must not:

• Upload content you do not have rights to share
• Upload malware, exploit code, or files intended to harm others
• Use the service for harassment, threats, or illegal activity
• Attempt to break, probe, or otherwise disrupt the service or other users' access

4. Limits and file handling

When using the file sharing feature:

• Maximum file size per upload is 500MB (subject to change)
• Files are deleted after 24 hours or on first successful download unless otherwise specified
• We may block certain file types for security reasons

5. Monitoring and enforcement

We monitor server-side use to detect abuse and security threats. If we detect violations of these Terms we may remove content, suspend or terminate access, and cooperate with law enforcement where required. We strive to balance user privacy with safety and legal obligations.

6. Privacy and data

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and retain data. Please review it carefully. Short summary: most tools do not send your data to our servers; files you upload for sharing are stored temporarily and handled according to the stated retention rules.

7. Security and disclaimers

We take reasonable security measures, but cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping any generated links or PINs secure. Do not rely on this service for highly sensitive information without additional protections under your control.

8. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of content you upload. By uploading content you grant WebTools a limited license to store and deliver that content while it exists on our systems. Our site design and code remain our intellectual property unless otherwise licensed.

9. Warranties and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties and are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from use of the site. This does not exclude liability where not permitted by law.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or for operational reasons. Upon termination you will lose access to any content stored on our systems (subject to the stated retention rules).

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws identified in the footer. If you are a consumer, local consumer protection laws may apply.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the revised Terms and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance.
